Home Clay Series (2021)

Growing up in Western Pennsylvania, my family had three cats each named after a different plant: Marigold, Tulip and Ivy. As I grew older, I watched as they grew up with me.
This series was created to commemorate their lives and the impact they had on my life. Each piece was made using clay harvested from my home and imprinted with my identity both physically and as an artist. To me, these pieces are "home" in every sense of the word.
